I launched Hometown Values magazine from my spare bedroom in Lake Stevens in 2004.  Today we have 17 editions in 3 states.

I mail the Lake Stevens editon to 20,000 homes quarterly.   Each issue is packed full of coupons, promotions as well as display ads, allowing local businesses to connect with homeowners in the area.    Visit www.myhometownvalues.com for online coupons or download our free iphone or Android app so you have the savings at your fingertips: search My Hometown Values at the app store or Google Play.

For consumers- this is a FREE local resource to learn more about local merchants and try them out.  Local events calendar inside as well!   We have racks around town where you can pick up an extra copy of the printed magazine: Inside Village Licensing Agency or in a blue weatherproof rack outside Jays Market, Lake Stevens Mini Mart, Tom Thumb market or Getchell Station.   Digital copy of the magazine found at www.myhometownvalues.com , select Lake Stevens top right corner.

For merchants, the best part is the price to advertise.   On July 7, 2023 a first class postage stamp is now 66 cents!   If you were to mail to 20,000 homes the postage bill alone would be $13,200!    Compare that to an ad in Hometown Values where all the merchants in the magazine SHARE the printing and postage costs, allowing us to print and mail your sales message for 2-3 cents per home.   My talented graphic design team will also custom build your ad.

John Miller

John Miller worked in hospitality management for 20 years before he decided to make the move into real estate in 2003. He says the industry was a great match for his education, experience and skill set, and he loves helping his family, friends and neighbors buy and sell homes.

Some of the communities John often works in include Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Marysville and Everett. He also specializes in north King County, Skagit County and Camano Island. He works with all types of clients – from first-time homebuyers to empty nesters, starter homes to luxury homes. Additionally, John has experience with vacant land, investment properties, business opportunities and commercial leasing. Clients often appreciate John’s down-to-earth approach, and he strives to be knowledgeable and detail-oriented in all steps of the process.

John is active in his local community and volunteers for a number of local organizations, including his church, homeless shelters and food banks. For John, his family and faith are his top priorities, and he is looking forward to celebrating his twenty-fifth wedding anniversary with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and nineteen-year-old daughter.
