Chamber announces launches new
website, member levels
Lake Stevens,
WA – The Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce has launched a new website to
go along with the new logo unveiled in December. The new site is a modernization
for the Chamber, and will provide improved services for it’s members. Those
services will include a jobs board, news posting area, opportunities for
enhanced directory listings, and a community calendar sure to become the go-to
for events in and around the Lake Stevens area.
After doing
deep research on website options, the Chamber chose Chamber Data Systems’
CC-Assist system, a Chamber specific website and member management software product.
“We looked
at several different options, from the very basic to the overly complex, and
landed on CC-Assist as the best option” said Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of
Commerce President & CEO Matt Tabor. “For the pricing and options, we think
it can’t be beat” he said.
The upgraded
website is being launched in conjunction with revised membership levels to
bring the features of the Chamber’s membership offerings into the 21st
century.
“Our
previous levels, based on FTE count, were quite inequitable” said Greater Lake
Stevens Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Kim Daughtry. “We didn’t feel it was
right to charge a higher fee for the same services simply because a company has
more employees. These new offerings allow a business to choose the features
they would like based on their business strategy, not their employee count.”
The new
website and membership levels are scheduled to go live on February 1st,
and Mr. Tabor will have a walk through of several of the new website features
at the February Chamber Luncheon, February 3rd. The luncheon will be
held at The Mill on Lake Stevens in North Cove Park beginning at 11:30. Entry
is $20 for members of the Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce, $25 for not-yet-members,
and lunch in included. You can also attend the meeting without lunch for $5.
There will be additional presentations during the luncheon, to be announced.
