Personal Banking ConsultantPosition Purpose:
Our Personal Banking Consultant is an integral part of our team and uses industry experience and a strong understanding of financial products to provide our customers with an unparalleled experience. This isn’t your average banker – we do it all! From running a basic transaction to taking a loan application or discussing long-term financial needs, our top-notch bankers offer a depth of knowledge that separates us from our peers. Primary Responsibilities
Communicate with clients to uncover
unmentioned financial needs they may not realize our bank can solve.
Proactively assess clients’ financial information by completing a Needs Assessment to determine total current and financial needs then summarize, recommend, present, and sell appropriate products and services.
Maintain and service a book of clients by
proactively reaching out to them via phone and email.
Process daily transactions while conducting
cross-sells to create new business and provide extra services.
Be an innovative member of our team that is
self-driven and eager to contribute to the long-term success of FFNWB.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience
Five or more years in banking/financial
services industry preferred.
Possess the ability to engage with customers, begin a conversation, build rapport, and handle objections.
Be comfortable asking customers about their personal finances.
Be equally comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Education/Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
DNA experience a plus.
NMLS certified.
